I am not a designer, but I am a woman, wife, granddaughter, daughter, mother and friend. For the MANII'TA LACITTA brand, we have chosen the slogan "Made by women for women". This means that we do not produce clothes for a virtual client, we are deliberately focused on creating products for a woman - at all stages of life.

I am not a designer, but I am a woman, wife, granddaughter, daughter, mother and friend. For the MANII'TA LACITTA brand, we have chosen the slogan "Made by women for women". This means that we do not produce clothes for a virtual client, we are deliberately focused on creating products for a woman - at all stages of life.

It will be a surprise, but the more I developed the fashion business, the more I became a fan of the minimalism style. During the pandemic, I became a mother. And I clearly understood that I do not want to build my business with values ​​aimed at stimulating numerous impulsive purchases. And I don't want my daughter to grow up with such values.

Therefore, I am absolutely confident that the implementation of our plan to introduce the principles of sustainable and transparent fashion into the MANII'TA LACITTA will make us proud of our work and our brand in front of society and the planet.

STEP-BY-STEP
2017
Let’s starting
We, my mother and I, are starting our production of women's clothing. This is how our first brand with the slogan "With love for your body" was born. Natural materials, elegant cut, attention to detail, a lot of handmade work, original patterns, local small production - all these have become integral features and philosophy of the brand. The brand quickly gained momentum and gained the trust of thousands of customers around the world.

Partners: local companies
Materials: exclusively natural fabrics
Team: family business
Environment: low production volumes, multi-seasonal assortment production, lean production - 99% of the material is immediately used in sewing thanks to the thoughtful layout of the patterns on the material
2018
Fast track
We decide that we are ready for a new stage of development: expanding the assortment of products. This is how MANIITA LACITTA was born - a brand of women's and children's clothing. The basis of the brand was dresses - elements of clothes that should be in every woman's wardrobe and allowing you to create stylish independent complete images with a minimum of additional details.
Then all these decisions seemed logical: but now it is embarrassing for many of them.




SUSTAINABILITY:
Partners: production facilities in different remote regions (material and then finished products could move to the factory and back for more than 1 week and travel more than 700 km)
Materials: almost 60% of the new steel assortment is blended materials
Team: more than 45 people are involved in the steel production chain who were not involved in the brand, but only performed their commercial functions
Environment: active growth in production, the appearance of a seasonal assortment, an increase in cuttings and the number of defective products.
2019
Driving without stopping
There was no stopping us. We are expanding our assortment even more, using materials of different composition and attracting more and more different new partners. This year we have produced the maximum number of garments since starting the business and set a plan: to reach the target of 15,000 units of finished products per month and move production from local factories to those in Turkey and China.




SUSTAINABILITY:
Partners: production facilities in different regions of the country and complex logistics of even more clothing
Materials: almost 80% of the steel range is mixed materials
Team: more than 90 people are involved in the steel production chain
Environment: production defects increase by 5 times! Defects became such a problem that I even brought in three consultants to help me find a solution.
2020
Back to the roots
We continued to work and work, produce and produce the entire Q1'2020. In the process of growing, more and more often I caught myself thinking that a woman does not need as many clothes as everyone (including us) produces. To look good and change style according to your mood, it is enough to have the right basic wardrobe.
And then there was a COVID lockdown. Full stop for 3 months. Rethinking plans, goals and objectives. From this moment - September 2020 - we are restructuring our business processes step by step: choosing partners who share our values, and following the path of quality, not quantity.




SUSTAINABILITY:
Partners: only check and almost already "family" for MANIITA LACITTA local productions
Materials: only 40% of the range are mixed materials
Team: remote work of the whole team, except for 2 employees from the main office-warehouse
Environment: peace of mind in work for the whole team - there is no more race, but there is a conscious approach to their work, a decrease in the burden on logistics and waste

Most importantly: independently drawing up a really plan to retransform MANIITA LACITTA into a brand of sustainable fashion, eco clothing with respect for the environment.

Rethinking and redeveloping
We will be ready to become a 100% transparency brand and pass an international audit for ethics and brand compliance with eco-standards in Europe.
The volume of production is not more than 3000 pcs. per month of high-quality basic products of women's wardrobe that can serve for a long time.
Environment: continued development on the principle of "calm at work" for the whole team - a conscious approach to their work, colleagues, partners




SUSTAINABILITY:
Partners: manufacture of products in small family local textile workshops in Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland.
Materials: 30% range of materials recycled plastic and cotton / 70% of the range of organic materials and fabrics / 100% range of materials not using blends with virgin polyester or polyamide.
Team: more than 30 people are involved in the production and sales chain, sharing the principles of sustainable development of the brand
